Expofitness 2020
The seventh edition of Expofitness, considered the most important fair in the sports, fitness and wellness industry in Latin America, took place between February 14 and 16, 2020 at Plaza Mayor in Medellín.
With the participation of more than 240 brands and the visit of more than 32,000 people, the successful healthy lifestyle event closed with a positive balance.
Our cargo operation made it easy and possible to transport merchandise from different parts of the world so that various exhibitors could exhibit their products and advertising material, benefiting from the Transitory Free Zone modality.
Colombiatex of the Americas 2020
At the end of January, the 32nd edition of the most important textile sector fair in Latin America was held: Colombiatex de las Américas, in the city of Medellín.
On this occasion, the fair had about 682 buyers from 33 countries, about 546 exhibitors from 21 countries and more than 7,000 participants.
With the initiative, «Ruta de la Sostenibilidad»(sustainability path), 57 companies that are innovating in their production processes seeking more sustainable fashion were made visible.
And as we have been doing for several years, we made it easy and possible to transport merchandise from different parts of the world, so that exhibitors could participate with their equipment, machinery, samples, supplies and advertising material, taking advantage of the Transitory Free Zone modality through our comprehensive Fairs service.
12 sculptures of cows for the Cow Parade Medellín.
From Poland to Medellín, Colombia, we transported 12 sculptures of cows that traveled by sea to the port of Cartagena and later by land to free-zone, where they were stored until the day before the event, where they were transported to make the assembly that would give rise to an event of art and culture and a lot of color that summoned 12 artists from the region to intervene these 12 sculptures that became canvases that inspired creativity and captured messages from the city to transmit to the visitors who enjoyed the Cow Parade Medellín, joining the great cities of the world that have already experienced this important artistic display.
Batmobile for Comic Con Bogotá
Our mission was to take the Batmobile from Guayaquil- Ecuador to Bogotá-Colombia to Comic Con, the annual convention of pop culture and the entertainment industry that is celebrated in the main cities of the world in a format that was born in the United Stated 50 years ago.
By land transport and after crossing the border, this special cargo made a journey from the south to the center of the country, arriving in the Colombian capital in a picturesque parade to the Corferias facilities where it was successfully exhibited during the days of the fair.
Airplane Turbine, from Bogotá Colombia to Mexico City
In recent days we faced a new challenge, transporting an airplane turbine from Bogotá Colombia to Mexico City for the second most important airline in that country.
Were 4,975 Kg and dimensions of width 250 cm, length: 394 cm and height: 294 cm, that thanks to our specialty WCA Projects and our team arrived in Mexico without any mishap.
Dairy Packaging Machine from Colombia to India
The WCA Projects specialty accredits us as experts in handling large loads and special projects. Our most recent experience was with a national company that entrusted us with transporting an oversized cargo from the Port of Buenaventura in Colombia to Mundra in India.
